Australia’s National Curriculum, designed by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA), has been described as “shockingly poor” by one media outlet and “a problem” by education consultants. Yet is it as bad as it seems? We ask three experts on curriculum matters if there’s any hope at all for the document that is supposed to guide teachers and set standards for the next generation of Australians.
